We prune all types and sizes of trees, from bonsais to the largest specimens in town. Our climber/arborists receive specialized training in various ornamental pruning practices. (See Specialized Pruning Techniques). We are experienced at block and tackle rigging, as well as crane rigging, for large tree removal. We also have an environmental ethically based Plant Health Care program, and are actively saving thousands of Ash trees from the Emerald Ash Borer.

Tree and Shrub Pruning >>
No tree is too big, or too small, for our arborists and climbers to prune. We are trained in aesthetic pruning; but also are skilled at climbing out to the very ends of branches in large trees, so we can make cuts at precise points in order to stabilize their canopies. We know that no two trees’ pruning needs are the same; for this reason, we are dedicated to writing, and accustomed to following, very careful, detailed pruning specifications.
Specialized Pruning Techniques >>
Our arborists and climbers receive regular, detailed training in traditional European ornamental pruning techniques (including pollarding, pleaching and espalier), as well as Japanese garden ornamental styles. We have been taking bonsai classes from world famous Denver artist Harold Sasaki for almost twenty years.
Tree Removal >>
Though we prefer to manage big old trees, we frequently are asked to remove dead, dying and dangerous trees of all sizes. We have experience with many crane types and sizes, all the way up to 120 ton capacity units. Our climbers our familiar with state of the art rigging techniques, for both crane removal and traditional block and tackle/winch removals. We have the gear and training needed to do set complex rigging systems.
Organic Emerald Ash Borer (“EAB”) Treatment >>
We are the number one injectors of AZA (active ingredient: Azadirachtin, or Neem Seed extract) for control of EAB among residential tree services in the United States. We have treated about two thousand of our customers’ trees and have lost no trees to date (that were treated on time and on schedule).
